The American electric-automobile manufacturer group, Tesla Motors founded in 2003 always keep to their promises with surprising electric vehicles, very performant SUVs which left everyone speechless. For the year 2021, the group came out with varied SUVs Including the Tesla Model X and Tesla Model Y. It should be noted that Tesla Roadster, another SUV from this group which was announced to be out also by 2021 was postponed to the year 2022.

The Tesla X is an impressive large all-electric SUV version of the Tesla Model S, even though both vehicle boast the similar electric-all wheel, the Tesla X sits at the top of the Tesla’s SUV lineup. The Tesla X with its top-hinged rear doors is high performance electric SUV with 05 to 06 seating spaces. It is equipped with electric motors that have two moving parts, and single-speed transmissions that have no gears. Some features of these dual motors include AWD 60, 70D, with 328 horsepower (245kW) front and rear 90D, 100D with 259 Horsepower (193Kw) front and rear P90D, P100D with 259 horsepower (193Kw) FRONT, 503horsepower (375Kw) rear. Tesla X provides on-demand all drive and performance-acceleration, features which makes it a special car. It’s impressively fast, especially in straight-line, the Long Range plus version can accelerate to 60mph in 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph which is a crazy performance, for fans of speed. Moreover, it’s equipped with high-tech infotainment and driver assistance features with a very comfortable cabin. Like other Tesla vehicles, the Tesla model X is an environmental friendly car, even though It is not as much as other electric SUVs. Tesla X seems to be one of the safest SUV, due it’s advanced Safety features which include active lane control, Blind-spot monitoring which alert the driver to obstacles or vehicles in the blind spot, and automatic emergency braking. The starting price of the Tesla model X is about $91,190, making it a little more expensive than its rivals, Audi E-Tron ($66,995), Porsche Taycan ($81,250).

Tesla Model Y, Small but performant

Tesla Model Y is a small crossover SUV of the Tesla lineup, which display outstanding, and indisputable performance features. Even though, it does have common features with the model 3, the Tesla Y provides more spaces for passengers and cargo.  Moreover, the Model Y is ready in Rain, snow, mud and off-road, its All-Wheel Drive is equipped with two ultra-responsive, independent electric motors that control torque to the front and rear wheels, providing a smooth handling, good traction and a perfect stability. Talking about the engine it is of course an electric with up to 384 hp, 376lb-ft for the Long Range Model. Compare to the 2020 model, the Tesla model Y 2021 had better panel gaps and good panel alignment, event though, there is no crucial change about the paint issue which has been raise as a common problem for the Tesla. The standard Tesla model Y has a starting price of $39,490, while the long Range starts at $48,490, hence, cost lesser than the Tesla model X. Close Rival of the Tesla Y is Ford MustangMach-E with incredible performance which put the electric crossover nearly at the same level with Tesla Y. Other competitors include the 2021 Audi E-Tron, the 2021 Chevrolet Bolt Ev, the 2021 Porsche Taycan.
