The world challenge about climate changes has pushed many cars manufacturer to be more engaged and more environmental friendly. With 2021 Renault Captur, the French automaker is not left aside; after his promise, it is out again with this model said to have been discontinued in the Indian market after few years of disappointments. Renault models are the oldest brand in the French automaker group. The group has entered the new era with promises of great innovation and legacy taking into consideration the current industry challenges with high tech SUVs. The arise of their new captur in over 100 countries was a mark of fulfillment. But since the launched of the Renault captur in 2017, it seems not to have met the expectation in some countries. But it still stands competitors including the Suzuki Vitara, Nissan Kicks, Honda HR-V or Hyundai Kona.
Why the Renault Captur have been discontinued in India?

The Renault Captur was introduced in India in 2017 and has been dominated by other model like the Hyundai Creta. So far the sales haven’t been up to the company expectations, only 6,618 units from November-2017 to End-March 2020. This has been a big disappointment for the company even thought, they haven’t given any official information about this. But it is clear that the Indian market hasn’t really adopted the Renault Captur, and it is silently being substituted by the Duster, another brand of the French manufacturer Renault and its Romanian subsidiary.
